The management of different types of waste, the protection of our drinking water resources and the protection and development of our environment have been requiring ever increasing attention. European accession provided us with a great opportunity to find partners for our domestic environmental activities as environment protection is a field of priority in the European Union.

The Development Directorate aims at demonstrating the results of domestic and EU efforts in providing for a healthy environment, so that Hungarian citizens may see and experience them. This is why we welcome every initiative that may promote the realization of the objectives described above.
